The daily average screen time of Indians have moved up by an additional two hours. This includes work from home, education, streaming and entertainment.
The screen usage of Indians on smartphone moved up from 3 hours to 5 hours and there was also raise in internet through broadband, which was said by Ericson Mobility Report.
The Ericsson Report which showed that the India was the top country in consumption of data in 2019 and it raised much during lockdown. The data consumption in 2019 stood at 12 GB per use per month, much higher than the global average of 7 GB per month. According to the report, it will go to 25 GB per user a month over the next five years.
In India, it is expected to have around 41 crore additional smartphone users in 2025. The report also said that 18% of people will be using 5G network.
